Frequently Asked Questions

Do you have prep instructions?

You bet! Here are some pages that should help for fitness, headshots and portraits, and also feel free to give me a shout any time if you need any other info:

What should I wear?

It's up to you entirely, but I can make a few suggestions. If you're shooting fitness, wear tight fitting clothing to reveal your shape. For headshots and portraits, it's all in the look you want. As for colors, it's always best to bring a few different outfits to select from, even if you're booking just a 1-look shoot. Remember, it's always better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it.

Can I have digital files (JPGs) of my photos?

Absolutely! You can download your images from your private, online gallery and use them for your own personal use without limitation (post them on Facebook, share them with friends, etc.). If you decide to print them, please see my help page on printing and enlargements to make sure you get the best quality for the cost.

Do I have to purchase prints through you?

Not at all. I make it simple: you can purchase prints through your gallery online, or you can just download the originals from your gallery and print them anywhere you like. If you do decide to print them some place else, please see my help page on printing and enlargements to make sure you get the best quality for the cost.

How do I pay you?

Payment is due upon arrival of your shoot. You can pay with cash, check, or using a credit card through PayPal.

  • If paying by check, please make check payable to Nathan Cool

  • If paying by Credit Card through PayPal, you can click the Pay Now button below.

Do I need to sign a release?

I have simple, industry standard contract and release forms that I'll send you prior to the shoot. The release is standard, and you can review it prior to payment and scheduling. I am flexible with the release, but all changes must be approved prior to the day of our shoot.

When will I receive my photo images?

Normal processing takes up to a week in most cases, depending on the shoot and what package you've selected.

Can I have all the originals?

Yes, but for added cost. I shoot in what's known as a RAW format, producing a high resolution digital negatives (about 25-30MB for each shot snapped). All of these would need to be converted and semi processed. Also, like many photographers, I also discourage viewing unprocessed shots as they will not have the quality of my finished work. If you do want all the originals, please contact me for a quote and terms of use.

Wait! I've got other questions!!

No problem. Feel free to contact me at your convenience. I'd be more than happy to discuss any of your questions or concerns in detail.
